We can’t do this alone. We need your skills. We have a good mix of skills between the 20+ of us to date, but we need many dozens of us and we particularly need the following expertise.
If you fancy being part of a seminal moment in UK social media history, tweet @invincecable now, or email imupforit@invincecable.org.uk or drop on to the wiki and say hi, pick a job and do your finest. In fact, click here for the best of our wikipages for getting to grips with the way we’ve structured our enormous collective talents
Video production
If this is you, then you’ll already know last year really marked the year the Web became video rather than text oriented, in terms of mass consumer activity anyway. We have many ideas needing video production including:
- InVinceCableTV… following the man himself and making video diaries
- Vox pops… high street interviews of Joe Public, with some entertaining twists!
- Satire… job interview scenario amongst others
- Celebrity… filming and compiling celebrity endorsements
- And loads more!
This could represent an excellent showcase opportunity, and a great one for the CV once Vince Cable is firmly ensconced at Number 11 Downing Street.
Mobile apps
What is an integrated marketing campaign without an app? Of course, we all know that the downloads of the most popular 1% of apps exceeds the total downloads of the other 99%, so if you have that secret sauce and you want to help this country get back on its feet, please let us know asap.
Google Maps mashup
Yes, we need a Google Map so supporters can put a flag in it to represent their support for the InVinceCable We Trust campaign. Perhaps they can have a “special” flag if they contribute a tenner to our warchest? Here’s some links we’ve already identified that will make your mouse judder with excitement…
