The evening of 11th May 2010
That’s it then. A man who has never even run a corner shop now has the responsibility of looking after your finances, and everyone elses. He is the youngest Chancellor for a Century. And the least qualified, or so the InVinceCable campaign team thinks, at a time when the economy needs the most sage handling. May he succeed.
Thanks to everyone who supported the InVinceCable campaign. We hope this outcome does not deter you from continuing to use social media, indeed any lawful means, to engage in this country’s political and societal well being.
Perhaps we can point you to the excellent campaign at http://www.takebackparliament.com… which needs your support right now!
Over and out. Onwards and upwards.

Check out what the Telegraph has to say… the Tory paper is basically “on message” with the InVinceCable campaign!

Well, we wanted to wait awhile for fear of calling it too early, but now that it’s the afternoon of the day after, it’s clear. We have undoubtedly got ourselves a hung parliament, which is most excellent news for the country. Why?
Because now Vince Cable can be chancellor!
Our campaign now comes into its own. Now is the time for our voice to be heard.
We’re gearing up for Blog Vince Day this coming Sunday, but please start making the noise and explaining our point of view right now. It goes something along the lines of “George Osborne hasn’t even run a corner shop” and “Vince Cable is an economist” but you’ll find plenty more material to make your own on our website here.
This is it. Let’s do it!
